· Retail Management, We were ask to sit in on a class meeting with the proprietor of a small retail clothing business and a Manager of a Macy store, then with our assigned groups write a paper and do an in class presentation comparing the two retailers’ strategy. During this project we found that a small sole-proprietor retailer has a completely different retail strategy compared to a large corporation.
· Nonprofit and Social Marketing, As a class we were asked to design an ad campaign to promote a social welfare program that will help lower Ireland’s unemployment rate. Our vision is a movement for change powdered by students from America and Ireland. American “can do” attitude combined with

· Project Management and Team Leadership, We were asked to complete a semester-long team project within an assigned team/group. Each team was asked to develop, throughout the semester, a project using the Microsoft Office Project 2007 software tool for a specific project to be chosen by the team. The project will have interim deadlines and goals, including the creation of an approved set of team rules, consequences, scoring system, and accountability breakdown for the project. A presentation to ‘management’ about the project status was done on the due date. My group developed a backpacking trip through Europe for the project.
